Analyzing the Attributes of Arsenal's New Striker

An English press report, today, Monday, confirmed that Arsenal is placing strengthening the spearhead position at the top of its priorities, in the current winter Mercato.

The level of duo Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus declined in the last matches for Arsenal, to the point that the London team collected only 4 points out of a possible 15 in the last 3 matches.

According to the British Football Insider network, Arsenal's coach, Mikel Arteta, has identified the qualities of the striker he wants to join the Gunners this month.

The report explained that Arteta wants to sign a player who has great physical strength, unlike Nketiah and Jesus.

Arsenal has been linked to signing Englishman Ivan Toney, the Brentford star, Victor Osimhen, the Napoli striker, and Victor Boniface, the Bayer Leverkusen star.

It will be difficult for Napoli to give up Osimhen during the winter Mercato, especially since he renewed his contract a few days ago, and the same applies to Leverkusen, who is competing for the Bundesliga title.

Tony is currently subject to suspension, accused of violating betting rules, by the English Football Association.

Toney is scheduled to return later this month, and Brentford does not want to lose the player, especially with Brian Mbeumo out due to injury.
