Palmer and Jackson lead Chelsea to defeat Sheffield

Chelsea narrowly won 2-0 over Sheffield United, bottom of the English Premier League, thanks to two goals from Cole Palmer and Nicholas Jackson within seven minutes during the second half of the match held on Saturday.

Palmer was able to penetrate Sheffield United's strong defense when he shot the ball into the goal from a distance of six meters after exchanging the ball with Raheem Sterling in the 54th minute.

Palmer moved from scoring goals to making them in the 61st minute when Sheffield goalkeeper Wes Foderingham was unable to clear the ball, after a state of chaos in front of the goal, so Palmer passed the ball to Jackson, who was not being marked at the far post, to put the ball into the net.

This victory, which is Chelsea's third home victory in the league this season, raised coach Mauricio Pochettino's team to tenth place, surpassing its neighbors in the capital, London, Fulham, and Brentford. As for Sheffield United, under the leadership of its new coach, Chris Wilder, who recently returned to the club, it remained at the bottom of the standings.
