The Tunisian Football Federation announced today, Monday, the participation of the senior national team in an international friendly tournament with the participation of Egypt, Croatia, and New Zealand in the Emirates next March.
The Federation said in a statement on its Facebook page that this tournament, in its first edition, will witness the participation of Croatia, the third World Cup 2022 in Qatar, Egypt, the record holder for winning the African Cup of Nations title (seven times), and the New Zealand national team.
The tournament will be held in the UAE during the period from 22 to 26 March.
The tournament will be held in a semi-final and final system to determine the champion of the first edition, and lots will be drawn later to determine the semi-final matches.
Tunisia will play in the finals of the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast in Group E, alongside Mali, Namibia, and South Africa, while Egypt will participate in the tournament, which begins next Saturday, in Group B with Cape Verde, Ghana and Mozambique.
