Japan set a date for next Saturday at Education City Stadium with the winner of the Iran-Syria match, which will be held later at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.
Thus, Japan joined Australia, Tajikistan, Jordan, Qatar, Uzbekistan, and South Korea in the quarter-finals.
The quarter-matches will be held on Friday and Saturday, with the semi-finals next Tuesday and Wednesday, while the final is expected to be held on Saturday, February 10.
